Merry Christmas 2010 From Raven Republic

Hint: There is a mistletoe in the picture, look for it and you’ll know where to kiss… Anyway, as RR is slowly trying to be active again, our resident illustrator Trace has made another mind-blowingly awesome rendition of RR’s cover girl Sophie Emilia. Sophie wishes everyone an advanced Merry Christmas! She just keeps looking better and better.

Thanks Trace :D.

Armored Core Fan Stuff from Comiket 79

The devotion of AC fans knows no boundaries, and a group of hard-core enthusiasts decided to publish a series of fan magazines in the upcoming Comiket (Comic Market) 79 this coming December 29, 2010 in Japan. From what we gather, the contents will include original fan illustrations of Armored Core/s, and some articles that may interest fans. More images after the jump, along with their studio links:

Now THAT’S an Armored Core: Custom Lahire

Long time, no post, but this one piece is too good to pass up. Allegedly from the same creator of the Aaliyah Custom this really well painted Lahire kit has no special mods, gimicks or tricks, but it sure is pleasing to look at. With a blue, white, and gold paint scheme, the overall combination of colors plus the builder’s skill combine together for a fine finish.

Thanks J.E. for the heads up.

LAHIRE Gunmetal Version

An update to the already released LAHIRE model kit a few months back, the gun metal version of this kit will be making an appearance at a hobby center near you around January 2011. The new kit, besides offering a gunmetal paint scheme, will offer new parts such as a pile-bunker, a shotgun, and external boosters. Hit the jump for more pics of this upcoming kit:

Armored Core: Sailor Moon

What’s this? Someone actually took the time of putting a robotic version of Sailor Moon for Armored Core: Master of Arena, and it looks like it is working just as expected. We’re strangely excited about trying this out for some reason, and we’re expecting some sort of magical transformation to occur when you equip the grenade launcher. One More Wanzer Profile For Front Mission Evolved: KEHEI

Around a month left before Front Mission Evolved’s release and we get teased with a new Wanzer once again. This time it’s the KEHEI, a Wanzer from Da Han Zhong, a faction that first appeared during the events of Front Mission 3, and given the introduction of this unit, they might play another role in the upcoming FME title. The appearance of this Wanzer is very much different from the previous ZEPHYR teased a few months back. Nonetheless, this new unit is a welcome addition to FME’s growing arsenal.

Read more about this new Wanzer in the FME development blog.

Nine-Ball Seraph in Another Century’s Episode R

It’s. About. Time. (Video after the jump)

Armored Core’s uber boss is finally making an appearance in Another Century’s Episode R, the latest incarnation of the long running ACE series which allows players to pilot their favorite anime mecha from various shows and blow stuff up. Finally, the chance that many AC power tripping fans have been hoping for is here without using some cheatcode to use him (We don’t really know if players can use him, but we’re assuming they can). From Software, who developed the same game, also inserted a Murakumo mech from the game with the same name in the first ACE title as well, so the tradition kinnda follows.
