X3: Reunion & Terran Conflict

Three-time PACT champion Lord_Leperman has been SO busy with something that he hardly posted anything in the forums since PACT 5 finished. It turns out that he’s been consumed by a game called X3 by EGOSOFT. He’s so engrossed that he even wrote what seems to be a sort of diary entry from the perspective of his in-game persona.

RR3/BYOB2/PACT5

Three events rolled into 1! On August 1, 2009 we will be celebrating RR’s 3rd foundation year, our 2nd Build Your Own Burger event, and out 5th Armored Core tournament with a highly experimental tiered randomized 2-on-2 system for AC:LR which will happen in the middle of the day. For more details, please click HERE.

This is going to be held in Sforza‘s place in Makati if he’s still around by August 1. If not, its going to be in Lord Leperman‘s place, which is 3 minutes away.

Hope to see you guys there.

UPDATE – Great success!

Sexy Head Part for Armored Core 3 Portable

This official screenshot sports a sexy new head design previously absent from all preceding AC games. One can only wonder what other new surprises AC3P has in store for its followers and fans. Speculation goes that it’s the equipped head part of the new No.1 Ranker in the arena, replacing Ace as the arena top dog from the original AC3. See more pictures below and in the gallery.

PS2 Armored Core Games For PSP

As seen from this latest Famitsu magazine scan, Armored Core 3: Silent Line and Armored Core: Last Raven are receiving PSP ports soon as well. The listed release dates mark Silent Line due to release November this year, and Last Raven on March 2010. Two Tenchu games are coming out too, with Wrath of Heaven getting the first release this August, and Fatal Shadows on January next year.

Here’s the official launch page for these games. This was previously a countdown page, as what seems to be the norm for teasers these days.

No word on any changes in gameplay for SL or LR, though there is speculation it will take advantage of the PSP’s ability to connect online and play against other players via the internet as seen from AC3P‘s promo video.

Names in Armored Core: Noblesse Oblige

When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required. – Luke 12:48

Pilot: R. Leonhardt (AC4), Gerard Gendelin (Armored Core: For Answer)
First Appearance: Armored Core 4

I feel it is appropriate to do a background check on one of the more recent icons to appear in the Armored Core franchise, the Noblesse Oblige, in light of the announcement of its upcoming model kit.

Armored Core: For Answer 1.4 Regs Out!

Armored Core: for Answer regulation 1.4 has just been recently released for the PS3 while the Xbox 360 got its release a few weeks ago. Changes include a noticeable difference in quick boost handling of ACs, and various stat changes for AC parts and weapons.

Check out our AC:fA part discussion threads for various regulations in the Theory and Concept section of our forums.

BYOB = Build Your Own Burger!

Last March 21, 2009, RR had experienced probably its most awesome and grandiose event ever, the Build Your Own Burger event. The idea goes like this: 3 grills, 48 patties and buns, 8 sausages and buns, and an army of hungry guys bringing varieties of toppings ranging from veggies, spices, condiments, meats, and earnestly waiting to devour food.

So RR has its covergirl/mascot/muse or whatever you call her. Her name is Sophie Emilia. Here are a couple of colored works made by our resident artist/creator Trace-02.
