Serene says, that if i water it often and make sure it gets a lot of sunshine and Minovsky particles, i'll get a new Kshatling in just a week or so. Big grin

So awesum. T_T

Kinda reminds me of the Blodia mech from Cyberbots.

EDIT - Actually, i think THAT is the Blodia.
It is Blodia, Fox. XD
I decided to go ahead and do the preliminary build of the 3.0 I ordered a while back. It's been 10+ years since I attempted a gundam model so this one took me around 10 hours over 2 days.

I like what I see in person so far, definitely way more solid feeling and detailed than the old kits I built back around the turn of the century. Some parts are going to need some epoxy treatment I feel. The leg connections in particular are really unstable, and some of the clasping arms within the elbows keep popping loose for me at least. The head antenna loves to pop off as well.

Will smooth the parts, paint it up, decal and weather it and take real nice pics using the DSLR-- eventually. Putting copper colored stickers over the elbow and back of knee joints just seems stupid when the parts are separate, so I'll make sure to paint those copper.

So that's the 3.0 version. Looks almost exactly like a scaled-up rendition of the Real Grade model kit.
I've heard from people that it's pretty different once you start building its frame. Aesthetics are the same no doubt, but that's not really a bad thing if they're trying to emulate the odaiba gundam.

I've never built a real grade kit before but I think it's a stupid idea-- just stick to basic numbers. I've only built 1 1/144 kit in my life a long time ago and it was too small for me. As it stands the 7.5" tall 3.0 is bordering on being too small for me. I probably couldn't do anything smaller and enjoy it at the same time.
I see they havent changed the flaw on those new MG hands.. Damn flimsy wrists..
Coming from 2000-esque MG hands, these are amazing for me. The only thing I don't like is they don't ball up as tight as a human hand could, but that's a nitpick. The wrists don't seem too flimsy.
I agree the hands are awesome. My Sinanju Stein has the same hands and it can barely hold its huge beam rifle. They could have removed the ball joint connection on the palm..
No experience with the Sinanju, but the RX78 3.0 can hold out its arm and aim the beam rifle pretty easily. Been sitting like that for the last 12 hours and still holding strong. That sinanju rilfe is really big though.
A couple of english videos made by koto recently.
