PlayStation Philippines Launched

Sony officially launches the PlayStation series game consoles in the Philippines on March 27, 2010 and they’re holding a launch party to celebrate its release in the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City on the same date. Does this mean we get locally distributed PSN cards and official tech support? We here in RR hope so.

Here’s Your Front Mission Evolved Box Art

Snagged by Kotaku, at least for the PS3 version. With that, Square Enix released more screenshots of the upcoming Front Mission Evolved, which further excites us about the upcoming mech shooter. Based on the screen shots, the current progress of the game is shaping up to be a standard title in any mech gamer’s library. The new screen shot gallery after the jump:

Muscle Tracer Armored Core Fangame

This seems to be another fan made game in the works similar to Armored Core: Limit Release, but this one seems to have focused the game to Armored Core’s typically unappreciated grunt enemies. The name of the game escapes us, but it seems that it features MT opponents from the first Armored Core game and might also feature some limited customization on parts. Hit the jump for the video.

Transformers: War For Cybertron Preview Details

A lot of hype for the upcoming Transformers: War For Cybertron, and its probably well deserved. Tformers got an exclusive preview of the game and based on the report, Transformers: War For Cybertron is shaping up to be an awesome 3rd person mech combat experience. Central to the mechanics of the game is the 3 player co-op for missions, which will be available throughout the game with a join-in, join-out feature making the game essentially built for team gameplay. Armored Core Last Raven Portable English Trailer And Release Date

From Software’s official YouTube channel recently posted an English trailer of Armored Core Last Raven Portable, which also reveals the release date on May 6, 2010. Like the previous versions of the Armored Core portable series, Last Raven Portable will be released through PSN at the same price of $14.95. At least we now know for sure that Last Raven Portable will finally be accessible to Armored Core’s international fans. Hit the jump for the official English trailer:

Armored Core 5 Concept Art

From released some concept art for the upcoming Armored Core 5 inside the AC Chronicle Art Works booklet that came with Last Raven Portable, which gives us a glimpse of what AC designs and what parts to expect in the upcoming game. From the looks of things, the designs seem a little more bulky and gritty compared to Armored Core 4 and For Answer. More pictures after the jump:

Armored Core Last Raven Portable gets released today in Japan for the PSP. With this, From Software is also launching its Armored Core Battle TV service and an announcement of a new Armored Core Championship Tournament Season. It looks like From Soft is trying their best to promote LR:P for its fans.

Front Mission Evolved Q&A With Square Enix Director Shinji Hashimoto

There have been a lot of rumors and speculations regarding what sort of features Front Mission Evolved (FME) will be having, and fans have analyzed officially released videos over and over again to look for clues regarding the next installment of the Front Mission series.

The fine folks over at Japanator and its sister site Destructoid wanted these rumors and speculations laid to rest, so they asked Square Enix Director Shinji Hashimoto a few questions regarding the upcoming Front Mission title, including some of the burning questions fans wanted to ask about the game.
