5 armed men attempt robbery in San Juan near Xavier

teamjm Wrote:Around 9am. I was shockingly awakened by my mom telling me to lock doors.

We have 2 maids and 3 dogs, 2 japanese speech and one belgian. Dogs were also at the back with a maid and sadly gates were closed at the back so they just kept on barking.

My mom and driver just arrived( they did some palengke) Mom usually( most of the time 9/10) stays dowstairs to check on what she bought and plays with the dogs. Luckily she went up this time as she was hurrying for a meeting.

Driver was getting some things in the car ( half of the gate was open) while 3 men went straight to our house with their guns, .45 pistol and a long gun, m16 or something, tied our driver in the head and told him " hindi ka namin papatayin, pera lang kenlangan namin" then hinampas siya. Iniwan siya sa generator

One maid was making a burger( yes a johnny steams burger for my sister for her baon that day) she was at the back kaya she couldnt hear or see anything that's happening, she didnt know anything AT ALL. All dogs just kept on barking.

One guy was just at the sala, another guy was at the dining and told the maid " dumapa ka", reached her and told her" asan alahas at pera ng amo mo" then kinaladkad siya on the 2nd floor. Sister was charging her phone and her door was slightly opened and shockingly out of nowhere saw this guy with a gun to the maid entering our parents room. If you could imagine this. My parents room has a divider on it, my dad was on the other side ( by this time, dad was not sure to what's happening but he could hear noises and shouted at the driver and driver was not responding at all) so he was suspecting something's been happening. Dad reloaded the gun and took a vantage point to where he could actually shoot the thief( he showed us where he was standing, a good position actually) and this is when the guy shouted " may baril may baril". Guy hurriedly went downstairs and flew off.

They were using a fortuner.

They were able to get one of our car key and a cellphone, 2 macbooks were just at the side of the stairs. Buti na lang they were not able to get it.

Police came here 30 mins after the crime, very incompetent and they were pretty useless

We are still looking for some San Juan officials or something who could help us finding these guys and make sure police would roam around the area more often.

Okay, dad's a Philippine shooter. Top 8 in the Philippines. He was classified class A shooter. I used to join him in shooting ranges but eversince i got very busy didnt have the time. Now I will be back joining him in shooting ranges and get a license for myself

GUYS, be careful. Nowadays its really not safe be aware of your things, routines everyday. change routines once in awhile.

We will be installing a cctv hopefully this week.

If dad wasn't around that time( he usually jogs around on weekends, buti na lang tinamad!) It could have been a different story

Thank you for all the prayers. We hope that this won't happened again.

Nasty, those guys aren't really taking it well. Hope the attack didn't lead to any serious injury or worse.

Um. It's satire, again. Did you read the link leading to the previous article about how the next ombudsman will be chosen via reality show?
