Haha we talked about that in the Only in the Philippines thread and concluded that it was really petty. Everyone's English accent gets made fun of -- Chinese, Indian, French, African, Australian, etc etc.
Hell, our own celebrities make a mockery of English everyday during noontime shows with all that "nosebleed!" bullshit. Pisses me off to the core. =/

making funny accents of other languages is almost common as any conversation i hear about it in LRT, oh well why are they making a big fuzz over a 5+ minute event that is irrelevant to almost every life in the Philippines.

It boggles my mind that people use a statement like that to deride English-speakers, when doing so speaks more about their lack of comprehension more than anything else.
