Armored Core Analogs: Slug Guns

Shotguns are awesome.

While they lack a rifle’s range or the MG’s sustained fire ability, they’re capable of generating absurd amounts of damage in one quick pass. So when From Software decided to up the ante with Slug Guns, you’d think we’d slapping them on our ACs ASAP, right?

Wrong.

Muscle Tracer Armored Core Fangame

This seems to be another fan made game in the works similar to Armored Core: Limit Release, but this one seems to have focused the game to Armored Core’s typically unappreciated grunt enemies. The name of the game escapes us, but it seems that it features MT opponents from the first Armored Core game and might also feature some limited customization on parts. Hit the jump for the video.

Armored Core Analogs: Hydra Multi-missiles

Much like the mythical creature from where it takes its name, the Multi-missile pack is one weapon most people dread. While it doesn’t have the phenomenal stopping power of the other back mounts, the Hydra’s strength lies in its surprise – four missiles erupting from the main body to engulf the enemy, and cut off their attempts at escape.

Armored Core Battle TV Up and Running

As days go by, we hope we’ll see more user generated videos and maybe some great PvP fights. Visit From’s Armored Core Battle TV website to start enjoying the show.

Armored Core 5 Concept Art

From released some concept art for the upcoming Armored Core 5 inside the AC Chronicle Art Works booklet that came with Last Raven Portable, which gives us a glimpse of what AC designs and what parts to expect in the upcoming game. From the looks of things, the designs seem a little more bulky and gritty compared to Armored Core 4 and For Answer. More pictures after the jump:
