Armored Core V – Live Demo

Update: New video clips added. Also note that another live demo is scheduled for streaming on May 19th at 8:00 PM (GMT+8).

Armored Core V’s live demo was finally aired last night, much to the delight of Armored Core fans everywhere. See the video below in case you missed it or want to watch it again.

The footage showcases such things as the shin-shield, fold-out sniper rifles, wall-jumps, quick boosts and overboosts, and even an AC shoulder tackle or knee strike.

The game’s speed seems to fall somewhere between Armored Core: Last Raven and Armored Core: For Answer, but with flight-altitude much more limited now.

The combat HUD has been streamlined as much as possible with most pertinent data now displayed around the aiming reticle, while a new scanning mode provides more battlefield information than ever before. The new operator system was also featured.

To see the meat of the gameplay, skip to the 1:11 portion of the video for a single-player mission. Team-play demonstration starts at around 1:46.
