They just keep piling on the awesomeness this season, that was thoroughly entertaining. Not to mention so much fodder for brony artists and writers.

fun fun ep!
The Simpsons Movie reference (giant glass bowl)
Star Wars reference (yoda training luke to use the force in the swamp)
Wilhelm Scream (when the apple cart was about to land on a pony)
Portal 2 (spaaacceeee~ floating Angel looks like a scene in the game)
The shop where Trixie got the amulet feels like a reference to something XD

i don't think this ep makes rule 63 cannon. since Twilight's magic didn't really make AJ a male.

I personally think it was part of the Equestrian blackmarket,why else would a dangerous artifact be casually displayed?

G'LORD. Imagine the amount of fanfiction created after this episode made Age spells and genderbending spells theoretical/relative canon o_o plus the amount of screen time Rarity and Applejack have together <.<

Nah the second one wasn't the real deal, it was actually hinted its a very hard spell considering Trixie's shock. Don't think that would stop writers though. LOL

And totally agree about the RariJack bit. LOL
