But Alice in Wonderland DID have a sequel. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Through_the_Looking-Glass

And the author was a lolicon.

Yeah, it was in the credits. The movie was a sequel-sequel then? Tongue
Hahah dunno. Haven't watched it. Might as well waste money on it anyway. Tongue

I think it was, but I haven't watched it also yet.
I told myself the movie's gonna suck. Based on what you guys said, it did.
Better start looking for books then...
I just watched Alice in Wonderland, in 3D.

I didn't get it. It felt like it was all over the place. It was visually good of course - I think stunning otherworldly visuals are becoming a standard for films nowadays - but I didn't get what the whole movie was about. Alice's journey to self-knowledge? What was the relationship with the Hatter all about, mildly tinged with romanticism as it was?

Also, I felt like 3D was more of a hindrance than a help to audience immersion. The glasses are still clunky. The technology is still clunky. I don't plan on watching any more 3D movies for a while.

All in all, I give it a meh out of five.
Imagine me watching Avatar. Glasses on for 3 hours. O_O Made me a bit dizzy after. Definitely not watching 3D for a while either.

I watched Extraordinary Measures with my folks. We came in thinking it was an action flick. Turned out it was a based-on-a-true-story movie about finding a cure for some rare debilitating disease. LOL Was pretty good though.
Watched REC 2 last night....twas pretty fun, though the first one was better.
Just watched the documentary that won this year's Academy Awards for its category, partially because of the insanely high ratings, and because it was set in Japan.

The Cove at Rotten Tomatoes

The Cove at Metacritic

The movie was about the annual dolphin massacre at Taiji, but it turned out to be a thriller about how to sneak underwater cameras and microphones into a natural fortress. The movie doesn't try to force anything down your ass, like the Greenpeace anti-whaling activists. It makes good arguments for wildlife conservation, and how dolphins may be self-aware.

It doesn't try to shock the viewers with scenes of mutilated dolphin corpses either.

Anyway, it's a great documentary. Definitely worth your time.

You can get it on torrent, or just grab a copy from me Tongue
How to train your dragon!

really fun movie to watch and some of the dragons look like they came from MH LOL
looks like a herbal movie
the herb can soothe the beast you know....
The Hurt Locker.

Take that Avatar!
Just watched Shrek 4 yesterday.

It was SO bad. My gf actually fell asleep halfway through it. I almost did too.
I myself am waiting for toy story 3

anyway finally got to watch Hero and it was good IMO
Iron Man 2. I have no idea if other people share my sentiment, but I thought it was pretty good. WARMACHINE!!! Iron Man's till my favorite Marvel guy though.
