putting this here before I flood the theme song thread
I have listened to the original and 2 renditions of most of the songs on mlp and I love them all XD
so far the only things that have teared me away from continuously listening to these songs are hell march, zero and few other songs I really like o_O

Yep, old-school at it's best.
Weird. Whenever I listen to this, it reminds me more of changing Hitler's, Stalin's, and Einstein's histories with limitless conclusions within RA's sci-fi setting, rather than its later days of pure random bullcrap with stupid-looking giant samurai robotzzz and sexy babezzz. It's just that it feels so different compared to RA2 and 3. (Never really liked both anyway, although I played 2 as much as 1 in my younger days.)
Then again, this is the old one before it turned into random bullcrap.

Video-wise, that's actually the new version. The original one was released back in the '80s when the Blue Angels were still using older planes.

Yep, i really am getting old if the music in my room right now is a playlist composed of mid '80s stuff that my mom used to listen to.
It's only now that I'm older that I truly appreciate and understand the relevance of the lyrics and meaning of this song.
