All that jazz, served to you piping hot. Drool
Aaand... <a href='http://ff7.ocremix.org/' target='_blank'>Final Fantasy VII: Voices of the Lifestream</a>.

Before all of you start with the remarks about FF7's faggotry, let me say that this album produced by OverClocked Remix's zircon ain't no pushover. If you even played FF7 at least once to see what the fuss was all about, then you owe it to yourself to listen to this at least once also.
The albums Mercy from Planes Mistaken For Stars and Casually Dressed And Deep In Conversation from Funeral For A Friend.

From the website of OCR I noticed a link to Chrono Symphonic, the remix album for Chrono Trigger "if it was turned into a movie".

Sad to say, IMHO, the FF7 remix album doesn't even come close (though it's still good). Maybe it's because I don't really listen to techno, or maybe it's because I enjoyed playing CT so much more than FF7.

<a href='http://vizzed.com/chrono/remixes.htm' target='_blank'>Link</a>.
Definitely listen to the Chrono Symphonic album.

I'm a HUGE fan of the music from Chrono Trigger. I even have the 3-CD original soundtrack which cost me 1,200 pesos. >_<

Also try listening to the Jazzy "Brink of Time" Chrono Trigger OST remix. Big grin
+1 for Symphonic. It's one of the first things I downloaded after I wiped my hard drive. I even keep the FLAC version, for godsakes.

Blue Skies Over Guardia and To Far Away Times - instant classics, especially if you've listened to the original source melodies by Mitsuda.

I agree though Jake, VotL isn't on the level of polish as CS. Even the regulars over at OCR kinda imply that.

I found a lot more remixes that these Shifty
<a href='http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pMTuqr0liY' target='_blank'>Family Restaurant Bomber</a>

Yes, the very song that inspired my member title. I can imagine using this as my entrance song in an arena match much like how wrestlers in pro-wrestling have their own intro songs when they enter the ring. Smile)

EDIT: Mind not the poorly made music video Tongue
Vanishing Light- In flames
Silverstein's current opus, Arrivals And Departures. I bought this disc a while back but only just recently started cranking on it. At least these boys from Canada are still are screamingly-good as ever.

On a side note, a friend burned me a disc with a bunch of acoustics on them, and they're all great. FF's Everlong has seldom sounded this melodic and Dave Matthew's The Space Between is even more heartwrenching than the studio version. And Pearl Jam's Black has just become my mantra.
Foo Fighters - My Hero
Continuing the love... OCRemix at Ormgas.com

That's ormgas, not orgasm. Apparently it means "snake gas" in Swedish. Or something. Basically, it streams quality OCRemixes from OCR straight into your media player of choice. And that means no storing of additional files on your hard drive, which is awesome. Just tune in, and space out.

I <3 streams.

Oh yeah, so as not to waste space, YOU HAVE GOT TO LISTEN TO THIS, especially if you've played FF9. It literally floored me the first time I heard it.
Ninth Symphony by Beethoven
Maybe it could help me with my final exams LOL
