The latest PV for the upcoming Gundam Unicorn anime, with the 1st episode debuting on the PSN February 20, 2010 and on DVD and blu-ray early March. This is a UC Gundam show, which means its auto-hype for me no mater how bad or good it may me. The Stark Jegan looks so awesome based on the PV above Wub.

Anyway, this is the Gundam sequel fans of the original Universal Century series are waiting for. While past UC Gundam works focus more on a new beginning (Gundam F91 and Victory Gundam) and prequels (MSIGLOO and 08th MS Team), Gundam Unicorn follows the original continuity established in the original Mobile Suit Gundam series from 1979. Set 3 years after the events of Char's Counterattack, Gundam Unicorn chronicles the story of Banagher Links as he reluctanly becomes involved in a conspiracy that threatens to shake the foundations of the Universal Century.

Plot and fanboy rave under the spoiler tag.

Unicorn has a lot of links and references with the original series, the biggest of which include the once presumed dead/missing Minerva Lao Zabi, the last legitimate heir to the Zabi family who were the main antagonists in the original TV series. The implications of getting her support for another Neo-Zeon uprising/independence movement (depending on who you talk to) would assert the legitimacy of the movement because of

The Nahel Argama, the AEUG Flagship in ZZ Gundam returns as one of Londo Bell's main carriers. Bright Noa, captain of the White Base in the original series also appears to have a pivotal role, at least in the novel version during the Battle at the Port of Dakar, the Federation's new capital after its destruction In Lhasa, Tibet during the events of Char's Counterattack. I also love the fact that Otto Midas, the new captain of the Nahel Argama, still sports a Titans-esque uniform. Works for me since I've always been an EF lover including all of its offshoot organizations. Big grin

In short, I can't wait to see this Big grin
FINALLY! Clapping

I don't really like the design of the Unicorn LOL
yey new gundam show just a little more XD

I don't think the Unicorn looks bad but I like the Kshatriya more.

and was that variable mech (not the tank one) a RE-GZ or something?
It's the RE-ZEL (REfined-Zeta gundam Escort Leader). Basically, a mass-produced Z-Gundam taking the transforming elements from the Methuss and a bit of the backpack from the Hyaku-Shiki.
oh thanks ... it looks cool XD
Extended version of the 3rd trailer is out. You get more combat and story scenes, otherwise it's the same as the 1st trailer. Activate the incomplete subtitles by pressing CC on the lower right corner of the screen:

Continuing yesterday's comments because i still can't believe it's gonna be a few more months before we see the unfinished fight scene.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!
Kshatriya was a monster with all those funnels. Double the number of the Qubeley.

The Stark Jegan at the beginning of the OVA was a hero. I cried manly tears for him.

Too early to tell what's gonna happen with the plot, but the Laplace box that's supposed to ruin the EF when opened still remains a mystery.

The EF has a Col. Badass character! He unloads his MS rockets at the Kshatriya, steps out and fires a rocket from a hand held rocket launcher himself after. I can't wait to see more of this guy.

Episode 2 is scheduled for Fall 2010 D:

...Also, we all know Newtypes are overpowered in the Gundam UC heirarchy, but did they have to make them that overpowered?! I hope the protagonist doesn't turn into (yet another) whiny-emo-bitch-tennage-boy stereotype. I already see signs.
