Just saw Unicorn.

I cannot remember the last time a Gundam series reduced me to a bubbly, squealing fanboy.

Then I saw episode 1. And it was good.

FUUUUUUUCK!!!!

Quote:I hope the protagonist doesn't turn into (yet another) whiny-emo-bitch-tennage-boy stereotype. I already see signs.

For me, the way he shrugged off those tears during those moments hints that he's the sort who gets shit done regardless of how much it'll hurt. Sure, he'll cry, and he may whine a little, but he looks like he knows his priorities, and he has just enough balls to see them through.
Preview for episode 2:

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/Zd4GCuPzR6M&hl=en_US&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Zd4GCuPzR6M&hl=en_US&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Looks like the rest of the cast gets proper introductions, as well as a first look at Full Frontal.
The blonde guy in a mask somehow looks a tad older than previous incarnations.
Another new long trailer, the good stuff starts half-way through the trailer:

<object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/H1IuUhxu1NM&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/H1IuUhxu1NM&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>

And now we have a release date: October 30, 2010 on PSN, and November 12 on DVD and Blu-ray.
Drool
Holy shit.

Just wow.
Damn, must contain the urge to start screaming like a fanboy, as it is not proper office behavior. I'll just do it later when i step out for a break. Big grin
Blond dude's name is Full Frontal dude is a clone of Char

and his MS is the Sinanju, which is an upgrade of the Sazabi

It's a bit obvious, and it's better than being named after four vaginas I think LOL

Call it Karma - Amuro's Nu Gundam caught that kick and pwned the Sazabi with its fists back in Char's Counterattack

Nice of you to reply, Mr. Skies. LOL

Actually, you could call it double karma, since i was really referring to Char's Zaku kicking the RX-78-2 during one of the early episodes of the originals MSG series. Tongue
