@HayWire
So far, i haven't seen any large scale AC figures here.
The largest model kits i have seen here is a gundam and a zaku II. (yeah, i know gundams again Chair)

check out the scale and the price Jawdrop

Window shopping is the way to go here because all game/anime collectibles are
very cheap (compared to their selling price in the phils of course), there are
a lot of rare and nice things to collect and if you succumb to your impulses you
might not notice that you have spent increadible amounts of $$ already.

@J.E_Magog
I'll take a photo of the display kits next time.
Its not easy to take photos inside shops and department stores because most of
them forbid it. They say it is because of some copyright blah,blah,blah protection
of the items they are selling (its like saying, go buy them if you want to take pictures!
a big nonsense! <_< )

@Grim
Common expressions inside these shops:
Ermm Huh Shifty Roll eyes Wub Woot Wacko Drool Tears of joy and last but not the least Nosebleed
AND LAKI Blink

I calculated it to be around 4 feet tall Blink

.....................
(least it's not taller than me)
350,000 yen!?!?!?!?!?

In pesos, that translates to...

Oh crud, mahal pa rin.
yup, that one is REALLY expensive.
I wonder how it's like to assemble that thing (yup, its a model kit
not a fixed statue figure when you buy it).

At least i know that you won't need tweezers in building that thing LOL

EDIT: Yes, yes it is.
Question: What scale are those things called? I've seen kits around 20-30 inches tall (Jumbo-Grade ones) but those models seem way larger than them.
Check the 2nd pic, it says 1/12 scale. At diba may Zaku din na ganito kalaki? nauna pa yata yun kaysa sa RX-78....

... Blahblah

One sunny saturday morning, i decided to buy a pc, so i went to nipponbanshi -
kinda like akihabara i guess.
After a 30min subway ride, i finally arrived at my destination.
[Image: P1000019.jpg]
First thing you will see there.

First i stopped by every computer store to check my options then followed by
checking the stores who cater to gamers and anime fans.

[Image: P1000012.jpg]
Then, while i was looking around. This scene caught my attention.
Of course i was struck with curiosity, so i went for a closer look Ninja

[Image: P1000013.jpg]
....... damn their cute! Wub (stupid bouncer, he ruined the picture!!!)

After a couple of hours looking around, i finally bought the parts that i needed
and went home (stopped over at Yoshinoya first to have my dinner).
Wub i just love eating "gyudon".

[Image: P1000014.jpg]
Right after i got home, i immediately went down to business.
It took me less than a minute to make my room messy.

[Image: P1000015.jpg]
After a couple of minutes, it was down to this final piece.

As i finished the assembly, i paused for a moment and said to myself...
"damn those two were sooo cute!" Chair

yeah, i know, i know, that was corny. I just happen to have 8 hours to kill today at
work with almost nothing to do. I might as well spend it here, right? LOL

initially i was planning on getting an asus 7950gt
but when the new nvidia 85 and 86 series came out,
they instantly disappeared from the store shelves.

i think it was some kind of marketing strategy to sell these
new video cards since they are slower in comparison to
the 7950gt series.

DT oks b??? Shifty
Their costumes...

Sure is. You got more than enough RAM on there. Got any liquid cooling systems in case you want to overclock your rig? Haha your 320GB won't last long with the download speeds you have. Wink

As for the pics, very nice. It's not everyday you walk down the street and find two girls dressed up as French maids... but then again, I don't live in Japan.

The costumes they are wearing are not actually based on any anime,
that is their uniform of the cafe/restaurant they are working for.
I've seen others wearing kimonos and school uniforms Shifty

Hmm... nope, i don't want to void the warranty. So, i'm not planning on any
overclocking. Anyway my video card was already factory overclocked (extremely!)
check it out.

[Image: DSC01851_resize.jpg]

base core clock is 450 -> overclocked to 600
base mem clk is 1320 -> 1600
