Macross Zero was decent enough but they should've reconsidered some plot points in the last two episodes. At least this new one does the series justice.

anywayz you gotta wonder would the destroid monster on frontier would remain the same or it would get a retouch? because from its image on ep3 it looks the same

we get a chance to see some awesome evasive acrobatic maneuvers from the new VF25 in episode 4 and a little glimpse on the upbringing of our princess err... hero

oh, and another revival of a classic song of macross

It's too bad the quality of animation in episodes 2 and 3 weren't up to par with the pilot ep 1 though. But it's still all good.

I REALLY like where this series is going. They did a good job by going back to the basics and using the same ingredients that made the first series legendary.

The way I see it, Macross Frontier is to SDF:Macross as Gundam Seed is to MS:Gundam. I'm liking Frontier more though. The fight scene was just whoa. hahah

EDIT: I'm liking the generous amount of fanservice too. They sure are pulling out all the stops to make this succeed. Hahah

Just saw Episode 5. It was pretty interesting. It still amazes me how much fanservice there is.

Oh and for as "high tech" as they are, they still aren't advanced enough to do anything about their Engrish. >_<
