I was kinda surprised in he last episode where some of them (actually most of them) pulled out classic moves such as:
SPOILER


Daedelus (sp) maneuver and Max and Milia maneuvers

Finally finished watching it! I was more impressed at the fight scenes in the last two episodes compared to the story, which turned very weird in a colorful sing-song way. I know it's very Macross canon to do so, pero kahit papano ang corny pa rin niya

Was also watching the bitrate on the video. GG group's quality really went up for it. It was reaching 6.7mb/sec. compared to the 3-4mb/sec. on all the other 720p episodes. The quality was way better than Lunar's release in terms of audio, and were no screen artifacts whatsoever even on the action scenes. To think that they're considered speedsubbers.

Yeah, I think Jay mentioned that already. Hahah you gotta love every time she goes "kira! ;-)" in the song. Just like Ranka in the anime. Kulang na lang yung stars.

Just watched the 2 Macross Frontier movies.

The first one was... ok. Felt like a setup for the 2nd movie. Now the 2nd movie... it was bizarro Kawamori environmentalist deus ex machina every 10 minutes crap. Definitely the most ridiculous Macross I've ever watched. >_< Ridiculous but fun. If anything, I thought the ending was appropriate (and you could tell it was going to end that way maybe halfway into it).
