Only as long as you're flying, but even then it should not be by much or you really feel the weight you're carrying. Once you start walking or boosting along the ground, that's where it hits: you're overweight. Lol.
And Horse, if you're looking to improve this thing, go with the LF71 for its superior stats. Put on Geryon like wanzer said as it gives this AC some lethality from longer ranges where the Pixie3 and HP are not viable. Skylla2's tracking is kinda... not good. It won't really be effective at closer ranges anyway, as the HP does a better job for that.
As a general rule, I feel that backmounts should be for weapons that allow you to engage your opponent at longer ranges.
