Rant...Bloody Rant
The idiots at Bandai-Namco are still sitting on their thumbs about the release date of the second volume of .hack//G.U. At first they pinned the date as the seventeenth of March this year, with the thiurd volume to be release around Christmastime. I kept my fingers crossed but when the day arrived, there still hasn't been any word from their website. The game's been out in Japan since September of last year. The U.S voice actors have all finished their lines and all the bugs have been worked out in the game itself.
So why the feth is the game still unreleased!?
Then some guy on the GFaqs boards posted that the actual release date was sometime in the third quarter of 2007. Damnit! The cliffhanger ending for volume one really whetted my appetite for the next game and now i find out that i have to wait for a few months until the next installment.
Then all these theories concerning the release date keep cropping up. A whole slew of dates ranging from april to september are posted but still no official word from Bamco. I know that demand and supply go hand in hand but what they're doing is more than fueling the hype, hoping that the numerous release delays will increase sale. It's utterly ridiculous.
Now someone says that the official date of release is on the eighth of May. If this turns out to be another false flicker of hope, then i'm going totally postal on that date. I really need to know how Haseo gets Atoli out of the mess she got herself in.
Damnit, waiting really sucks.
