Rant: I've never felt this tired from an RR event before... I don't know what's up with me, but I just want to stop everything I'm doing and rest for some reason.
Rave: Today's afternoon was very very peaceful. Clear blue sky, cool breeze, nothing to worry about. I just took notice of it... the afternoon just felt really nice...
I believe i have now found the "Off" switch for my body. It's time-based and was flicked when i least expected it.
First woke up around 8:30pm on the night of the 15th, was wide awake for the next thirty-four hours and only had managed to spend an hour and a half drifting in and out at 5:15am to 6:45am on the 17th. Then managed to stay awake for the next eight hours before finally stumbling to bed and collapsing like a puppet with it's strings cut.
I lay down at 2pm on the 17th and only got up at 8am on the 18th. 18 hours of sleep... That's how long i was out, and i can't remember another time when i felt so... cleansed.
I just hope that i don't have to try that out again in the near future...
Rant: i went to the Navy office this morning to have my PQS(advancement) signed. And guess what? they didn't. Because i didn't make it to the 12 pushups out of 30. they didn't tell me that they're gonna make me do pushups so it suprised the shit out me when they asked me. what i thought was just a verbal exam (e.g about ranks and rate and ect) which im prepared at. what the hell, im just a recruit, what else can i do

RANT: Anyway, bought it yesterday. X, my staple character, got smacked hard with teh nerf(hammer). From probably top tier, she's now solidly mid-low. That would be around the level where Tekken's X is I guess. I'm thinking of picking another character for a main now.

Rant Part 2: I tried actually playing SC4? And it comes out in black and white. My TV is auto-detect for PAL signal, and for some reason it doesn't get detected. I'm really grateful for the PS3 of course, but as of now 3/4 of it's capability is pretty much useless because of the "small problem" which I can only fix by buying a TV with HDMI in which costs a lot.
Edit: Of course I tried playing it anyway, and now I have a headache from the black and blue flickering lines. If I knew, I wouldn't have bought the game first. Thanks regardless.
Now I know the next item in the wishlist.
Rant: Effing keyboard too small to effing work properly, plus the headset has one side of sound missing.

Jake, I think Rick said that it would work fine on one of your TVs, not sure which. You might want to ask him about it.
Its actually a bit weird. His multi-system TV perfectly registers the games I have, but the XMB menu is screwed up. That usually fixes when activating the XMB in-game. My copy of Army of Two and DT (or was it AA's?) AC4 worked fine as well considering they're region 3 and 1 coded respectively. I've heard of people having this problem as from people in Datablitz as well as my cousin and they've all pointed out the TV as the problem.
The Datablitz person noted that its an issue with where the game is released as it is coded for SDTV output, meaning if the game was released in a predominantly PAL area, chances are its SDTV output will be PAL dedicated. This is not always the case, since some games are coded to produce both PAL and NTSC signals making them truly playable in both types of consoles with different SDTV signals.
The same goes with game demos, as the demos are also coded PAL/NTSC signals for their respective regions.

However this might have some problem with game saves.
The games won't have an issue if played in HD though, since that's the priority output of all games, and HD standards are compatible globally.
Its still weird though, his TV should be registering the output signals normaly as it is a multi-system TV (The JVC one, and its the one being used right now.)
Try the disk swap method as shown above, but substitute AC4 or Army of Two since I have a sneaking suspicion that it might work with them as well... at least for a temporary solution.
Just a little warning for future owners.
There's been a behind the scenes battle of sorts for days now with the admins of SoCro and the (now many) banned members (for trolling and other offenses).
Been getting random troll posts from new users, script kiddies regularly appear to flood the channel (though I have a strict IRC bot) and are generally taking up a lot of our time. I had to remove the link to RR from my profile in case this place gets taken as collateral damage.
Might be a good thing though, since this forum is pretty dead XD

Rant: Bought a new desktop PC. Good specs. Good enough to make me last the next couple of years. Then when I got home, plugged all the stuff, turned it on, and then.. Nothing. Nothing appeared in the monitor. I thought there was something wrong with the monitor, so I switched it with another. Same thing. Nothing. Frustration!!! Now I have to bring it back to the computer shop tomorrow; not even more than 24 hours after having it assembled and "tested" at the PC shop to have it checked.
