USA! USA! USA!

Lesnar is a freak of nature.

And quote from 2 articles on yahoo sports that I'm too lazy to leave links to.
Quote:1. ...Fedor doesn’t fight in the UFC though. He’s with its rival promotion, Affliction. He’ll fight Aug. 1 in Anaheim, Calif., in what is the last match of his contract. Affliction is hoping to re-sign him until 2012, but the UFC will come hard after him. More now then ever. And that means money, big money.

“Eventually Fedor is going to be here,” White said. “I want Fedor. We’ll end up getting that deal done and then we’ll do Brock vs. Fedor and we’ll do a huge fight.”

2. White said he expects to sign Fedor Emelianenko, the Russian superstar whom he has long but futilely chased, in the near future. Emelianenko has a fight against Josh Barnett on Aug. 1 for Affliction, but White said he’s confident he’ll be able to reach a deal to finally bring Emelianenko to the sport’s biggest stage.
Although I seriously doubt that Fedor will come to the UFC if its restrictive contract format continues, I have to admit the prospect of Brock vs. Fedor is exciting. I know how good Fedor is, and it'll be a fantastic event to welcome him to the UFC by having him take on the undisputed heavyweight champ.

Also, there's a part of me that's unsure about how Fedor would fare against someone like Lesnar, who has size but has disproportionate speed for it (unlike say, Hong Man Choi).
Hahaha EA Sports got owned.
White's pretty douchey too, but EA's definitely the bigger douche here. LOL

UFC 100: A View From a Noob

Quote:...The fights started and I was really caught off guard by the first fight between Akiyama and Belcher and how the two combatants seemed to have so much respect for one another. They would be beating the living crap out of each other and then when they got up from a clutch or being on the ground, they would tap gloves and the go to beating each other again. Now there's a reason I mentioned the movie Gladiator because it struck me like there was a respect for each other and two men willing to step into the ring and bloody each other. There is something beautiful, majestic and humbling about that.

Course that wouldn't last long because the respect was tossed out the window with Henderson and Bisping. And let me tell you, I heard and read about much of the trash talk from Bisping and I wanted to bash Bisping in the face. I can't imagine how Henderson must've felt. And for me, in many ways, that fight was the highlight of the night. My buddy who went to the bar with me was kind of repulsed by the extra shot Henderson gave Bisping after he was out, but I've got to admit, I took some sick joy in that. And I feel a little guilty for feeling that way since I do consider myself, by and large, a rather sensitive soul.

I really don't know where to put this, but since it's related to martial arts in a way I'll just post it here.

I really am annoyed at Mayweather's antics since I tried to research abt the bozo. here he claims Arum is greedy when the promoter wants a 50-50 split between the fighters. He also tends to duck the best opponents he can get too, and then claims to be the best and all that.

here is a vid in which brian kenny asks this arrogant S.O.B abt who's the best fighter stuff, and then floyd talks nonsense and seems to try and divert the topic whenever pacman is mentioned LOL. Yep, his record DOES speak for himself, but then again, he has ducked a lot of the better competition too.
