Online freelance game dev work is pilling…working on 2 projects now…got 2 long term incoming around by next month or 2…and one another long term contract for next year

Chance my start up indie group might be featured in IGDA monthly (international game developers association) the funny thing is one like me none of my team members are from a game design course…well except our game programmer which i plan to add later on to the team when i find a reliable rigger/animator, user interface artist and special effects artist…but yeah were all mostly self taught and also we dont plan to make games yet because were still missing certain key people

Also tried sharing my indie group to some of my previous client been good news so far we have potential daw

Rant:

Still looking for full time but at least freelance online and one local is piling up

But yeah this got me thinking me…
How life can be a sick joke at times

autodesk maya or 3dmax licensed cost around 150k pesos

photoshop is roughly 30k pesos

game engine is free

so if i want to make games and sell them with my Visionaries indie team...

where the heck do i get roughly 200k pesos...already know where to buy the software but the bloody cost of the licensed software...><

then grandmother fatherside spends a lot a day on casinos O_O not sure pero yan daw kwento sa fatherside...

malas talaga the one with the money spends it like tissue paper

or spends on his favorite apo's or such...fancy new gadgets , fancy new laptop, fancy new car...pero hindi tumagal less than 1 year sa game design course masyado daw mahirap wtf...you had all the things i wanted back then i always had to make do with a second hand laptop AFTER college...i had to share one pc with 4 people or so which is why i had to rush my deadlines a lot of times......etc etc....just somewhat...haizzzz....>_<

didnt get to get into a game design course either (there wasn’t any game design course back then locally only abroad) or masters...masyado daw mahal but dear lord spends all that hard earned money on casinos

Fever and unresponsive groupmates since yesterday.


Honestly, I just want to dump the work on them since I'm the one that bothered to research on the topic and convinced our professor to approve it, but nothing's happening and I really really don't trust them.

On a random note, I know how to play up to 15 chords on the guitar now~
And my left handspan is bigger than my right handspan. It's kinda freaky

Ughh, I'm just going to study/practice and hopefully my groupmates will panic enough to do something.
