Seriously, get professional help, as this is sounds like a case of depression.
Even if you do hate your teammate, try not to be confrontational, as that tend to lead to all sorts of problems in the future.

@ medusa0
ive been to two shrinks in the past and i still have the prescriptions and meds. also, what im going through right now is nothing compared to what i went through when i went to them years back. went to them before with a situation similar to this and they brushed me off and told me to go out more, watch movies, and dont think about it, etc etc. nothing big. this is just pre-emptive supalpal blues XD
about the teammate, i dont hate him. however, he is starting to get on the nerves of other people again. even then, personality issues can be tolerated. the main problem with him is his performance is not that good, yet he acts as if he knows everything. to the point that he refuses to follow direct instructions or guidance. he insists that what little he knows is right. he's a trainee that resists training. even worse, he's bragging what he does to the other trainees, which in turn confuses them as to what the proper protocol is. if this isnt corrected early its going to lead to all sorts of problems in the future. the type that requires server rollbacks, and/or public apologies to players.
since i trained this new batch they're my responsibility. if they screw up, management is going to have my ass. i've already talked to him about his behavior before, but he seems to have forgotten all about it. im all for being friends with co-workers, but the job comes first. ika nga, "trabaho lang, walang personalan."

@zero: Really unsure as to how to comment on your current situation, but as someone who was also diagnosed with depression all I can say is do your best to not let the situation get to you. I hope for the best to you.
2nd day in Malaysia done ...
so some stuff about the trip so far:
It took me the better part of my first day here to find out the relatively obvious fact that I should not be looking for anything related to pork.
I found out the existence of the double sausage mcmuffin ... it has eluded my efforts so far.
The Petronas Towers are okay to look at during the day, but during the night with the lights on it is a great sight in all fairness.
Traffic along with the city night-life is considerably uncommon. "Barren" comes to mind sometimes.
If the chicken rice you are eating taste like tinola, someone did something wrong.
Malaysia along with a good number of other countries are infested with Jano Gibbs. (according to several sources including an Egyptian national airline personnel dude we chatted with during a particularly scary gondola ride)
Speak in your native tongue, and use codenames.
Went to Genting aka the Malaysian version of Baguio, way more foggy. Gondola ride in the day is great, return ride with zero visibility and a busted lamp is ... scary ... *shiver*
Beef Bacon is very nice.
On second day went to some big mall that pretty much puts MoA to shame. Toy store barely had any
Our hotel room seems to be meant for honeymoon couples; the bathroom is separated from the bedroom by a GLASS WALL. Sure it has that fancy turn opaque on a switch button, but the lack of lockable doors, and the fact that a family of 7 of varying ages makes for a number of rather ... uncomfortable situations.
20 channels on a cable tv ... wtf?

@CZ
thanks for your concern. i'll get through this somehow.
also just for clarification, im not depressed as in clinically depressed or something that severe. this is rejection fallout, and losing a friend or something of that sort. while i know what to do with regards to her (give space, cool down, try to be friends again later down the road), i am having difficulty with my emotions/feelings/mushy drama stuff. my usual methods of recovery/coping are not working so well since, unlike previous situations, i see her at least four times a week at work. post-rejection and/or post-breakup*advice would be most welcome. at this point tho, please keep it to PMs.
*i know we never were an item so this isnt the right term. but it's either that or post-nolongerfriendssoourinteractionsarenonexistentorawkward.
