I got a much cheaper Lenovo workhorse.

Dude, exactly which Lenovo did you get? I'm thinking of selling off the premium (but ultimately borked) Dell XPS I have, and getting a real reliable do-everything kit. I've been eyeing some ultrabooks because SSD and thin sound nice, but they're still pricey at this point.

You can also consider just buying a laptop from Amazon and having it shipped here through Johnny Air. In many cases, spec for spec, it'll come out much cheaper even with shipping and customs accounted for. Your gamble is whether it'll arrive here in one piece, and the lack of local warranty.

getting more freelance online gigs a lot more often now

and the projects are getting bigger

currently roughly 2 online clients for around till december

roughly 30-50 dollars per low poly 3d model

and another 2 not yet confirmed

hmmm and the one supposively for the texturing work...next time when they have the budget na lng but at least i guess is not a total loss

next week another job interview with another animation studio

Rant:
informatics wala pa rin un 3d animation, illustration, game design classes...

still no updates from the other animation studio i applied

worst fraking wednesday ever. such a big piece of crap that it took a day to dump out.

rant: only got three hours of sleep
rant: because i couldn't breathe due to my inflamed throat that rapidly turned into
rant: full blown colds, cough, a sore throat, and high fever
rant: stomach decided it was too cold and proceeded to cramp
rant: the whole effing day.
rant: had to go to work despite it all due to a meeting i had to attend.
rant: hungry? need soft food? enjoy some lugaw...then throw it up
rave: no work related issues.
rant: meeting with employee who everyone is getting ticked at due to an attitude problem.
rave: got the courage to ask her out.
rant: i am now invisible and non-existent to a certain female.
rant: threw up three times before it was time to head home.
rant: in between adventures my stomach was a knot of pulsing hell.

rave: took the day off today to go to the doctor.
rave: wasnt dengue or some serious thing
rant: it was food poisoning
rave: diet paid off, im in the preferred weight range for my height.
rant: getting there is why i've been sick so often this year.
rave?: stop dieting
rant: teammate who i got the cold from couldnt go to work either. no one to man the shift
rave: except the two trainees who the night shift forced to cover it.
rant: which meant they spent 24 hours working. i feel so bad for them.
rant: tried to follow-up but it seems this invisibility/non-existent thing is permanent.
rave: managed to turn the negative emotions into creative fuel
rant: hence the new FB cover photo and avatar. way to show that i wasnt affected ~.~

Don't worry the only enemy you have in ROTC is heat, rain, and maybe getting forcibly volunteered into the first squad. But then again being in te first squad just means a bit more work and a lot more rifle twirling, worth it considering you can be a slackers there and still get higher grades than a lot of the normal cadets.
