A friend of mine at the Filipino Freethinker Forums did some fooling around with Google Trends, and he found something disturbing: Makati has the world's highest incidences of searches for:

Regarding Poe's Law, it's actually pretty simple (quoting the wiki):
It basically notes that religious fundamentalism is so inherently full of batshit insanity that any attempt at making a parody, no matter how crazy, will be seen as the real thing.
