I somewhat tried playing with the new control scheme on a PS2 controller, with the aim of testing out the look up and down buttons on the /\ and O buttons. Honestly, its quite workable and given a few weeks playing (days even), I think most of us will get the hang of the new control scheme. Even having to synchronize firing your L arm weapon while moving and turning at the same time can be done by sliding your thumb over the large down button on the D-pad of the PSP while part of your thumb is on the PSP's analog nub. However, having to hold the L arm button down is an entirely different issue at least for me.
