What carries Elf3's damage is the heat, while LB3 has raw damage. Looks like heat does on contact damage as well.
Looks like I have one more thing to try out. [And somebody already did. Thanks Medusa.]
I agree with the 0.01% chance of hitting with a parry blade. I had to actually connive with my target to NOT move just to hit.
Another is to wait for a chance that the target is completely cornered or at least stuck somewhere.
On the bright side though... If a Nioh connects, you could follow up with a slash/wave combo for additional injury.

Tried the rules while fighting AI. I recommend ranker 49 since he blades often and his build is close to what we'll be using in KOB.
I still don't approve the no radar thing, but since it seems to work [first time ko murahin ang AI and it felt good.].
So I'll go along with it since it's fun and frustrating at the same time.
