Mga adek...
I don't know if this is true, but a friend of mine once said that left handed people are naturally inclined towards the arts (music, painting, sketching) and right handed people are more on the sciences...
I'm not sure about it though, but most of the people I meet prove this a little...

A lot of people say that. They say that because the left side activates the right part of your brain and for the right goes vice versa. Though I don't really believe that getting used to both hands would improve everything. Though my father can write and draw in both sides, but I don't see any significant improvement.

T_T I must saw Im a very right-handed person ~_~ my artsy side sucks
but I remember to have asked a prof about left and right handedness and the prof said it was inconclusive evidence to a person's inclination to art or science ... but I think there are studies on this already try the APA (American Psychology Association) they might have something on this if you guys really want to know...

I got this from a friend's blog. It's the headline of a local tabloid.

I'm sorry for asking, but can someone please translate for me?

The headline reads: Puri ni Nene (Nene's virginity/purity), iniligtas ng mga daga (rescued/saved by rats). The article talked about a case on attempted rape, which was halted when rats started to crawl out of the barn she was taken into by the suspect.
Apparently, the suspect got scared and fled on first sight of the rats.
I just put the headline into context, as Tabloids in the Philippines tend to be (very) straight-foward with their headlines, yet can be very crypric at times.
For example: "50 Tao sa loob ng gumuhong gusali, PATAY!" (50 people in a collapsed building, dead)
Others simply include the word "Sinibak!" (the media here often use this term to refer to the action of expeling someone from an official possition, it can also mean "got screwed" in some local usage, implying sex) and the photo of the person. God knows if the tabloid is talking about someone removed from office, or simply got laid for the first time until you read the article.

Mistranslations and word filters = hilarity ensuing.
You should know luffy, most of the tabloid headlines here in our country are intentionally made to be vulgar. However sometimes, I tend to think they do it for the lulz factor. Because it does have that when you read it. Utterly ridiculous. Just like this attempted rape. XD

Haha! That one got me really laughing because of its sheer inanity. This part's the funniest:

QUOTE (stupid primer)</div><div class='codebox'><div id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->
The suffix "0rz" might be appended to words for emphasis or to make them plural. For example, "h4xx0rz" or "sk1llz0rz," are plural or emphasized versions (or both) of hacks or skills.[/quote:9aab0fa2e6]
They should just tell the parents to go check out Urban Dictionary and be done with it.
