NIX??? O.o That thing reloads to slow to be noob friendly.... PIXIE3 beats it...
12-10-2009, 10:09 AM
Ah yeah, the PIXIE3 too.
12-13-2009, 01:16 PM
wait weren't you the nix advocate at one point, T98 ?
Icurus with Fudoh work well enough but i wouldn't want to take it into combat too often.

NIX, my point of view on it changes as much as the sun sets and rises.
However here, I just said that nearly no MG beats the OH SO generic Pixie3. NIX can be useful, but the slow reload time can sometimes be a pain. If they did it do 40 more damage though, it woudl've been acceptable...

I'll Stick with /UL , UL2, and Helios
?ul for a decent powered ob, cams and hanger slots which is pretty much the same reason as to why i like UL2. UL2 just looks better IMO. Helios for it's sleek look, relatively cold , powerful OB. i do think it should have been a hanger core though. /U is just, well i don't have the words for it. i mean you can't even make it go faster by using super light parts.

That video only proved that Atlas is horrible.
09-05-2010, 04:18 AM
the only thing ATLAS is good on is a lightweight (and due to LR screwed-up weight mechanics, DINGO2 for that matter...)
me and the ICURUS have a real love/hate relationship. i want to like it so much, but it just keeps showing me how bad it really is. to think, the stats you see are bad enough, add to the fact that the break rate is the third highest of all cores, and its OB startup heat is around 4000-ish...sheesh. i sometimes think that the ICURUS was just a little bit of a joke from the guys at FROM...
09-05-2010, 12:31 PM
Haha yeah I really want to love Icurus too, especially cuz of the awesome color of its afterburner. But it's just flatout bad.
Me too. Been making ACs around the core before and it just wouldn't let me love it, much like an A-10; only that the aircraft's gun is awesome in terms of functionality in the first place. None of the ACs were too competitive in terms of performance but they were at least workable.

not that anyone is paying attention to this anymore, but OB ignition heats are up in "ACLR: hidden stats" thread
