This thread is about MINDBLOWN videos. It may or may not be MINDBLOWING to some, but share what you were MINDBLOWN about. I'm also looking for more sites like the one I posted below, there are tons of videos that are interesting.

http://www.ninjavideo.net/video/18858 - BBC Documentary about Dreams.

Well since I have no experience with psychedelics *yet*....ummm....dreaming is as close as tripping ballz....your brain synthesizes a chemical known as DMT that makes you trip out....a NATURAL drug if you will since DMT is also found in almost every living thing, but is highly concentrated on plants. My point is, I wished they compared the brain activity of people under the effects of hallucinogens with people who are lucid dreaming *able to control dreams*...i wonder if they're the same. I better practice =D

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h7tq0IwPa...-fresh+div -Joe Roegan Isolation Tank Giveaway
Basically you're in a tank filled with water so salty you will float...also the water is warmed up to body temperature...no lights and your ears are submerged...not recommended for claustrophobic people. But anyway you'll end up feeling weightless and it's as if you are floating in space....and because your body is desensitized...you trip out...it's a NATURAL psychedelic experience. I wonder combining DMT with the tank...i wonder what i will see...hmmmm someday i will have my own floatation tank.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WJbh-O7-44Y -Joe Rogan talks about Marijuana and DMT
I assume Joe has done the tank and DMT and here is the insight he shares. ^^^^^^^

What we have to consider first is preparing oneself before looking @ our subconscious....I mean i'm sure it's not mentally healthy to just do psychedelics out of pure fun...compared to the shamans of loooong time ago, i guess we too have to take steps before becoming 'urban shamans' ourselves. Simply put "If you have a low watt brain and you charge it with jet fuel, you're still going to have a low watt brain = Joe Roegan" I personally don't swallow ever 'controversial' idea i come across with, but for the most part, i'm looking at those ideas that i find would be healthy for me.

I should've done this a long time ago instead of dropping MINDBLOWN videos here and there in my posts on different threads...but oh well.

EDIT: I will go to sleep and dream what the replies to this thread would be...if there will be any when i wake up. Also, i'm going to practice Lucid Dreaming....maybe it'll help me out with getting better with SF4, ACFA, and of course cooking...here we go! Facepalm Facepalm Facepalm Facepalm Facepalm zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz........
Still need practice with lucid dreaming...it's so hard to detect that i'm dreaming when i'm dreaming...argh
A classic.

RIP Carl Sagan. I downloaded the Cosmos Series and i had my mind blown a lot of times. This video is the shortest yet the most important message that he left behind for us all.

Edit:
Carl Sagan was an avid user of marijuana, although he never publicly admitted it during his life[4]. Under the pseudonym "Mr. X," he wrote an essay concerning cannabis smoking in the 1971 book Marihuana Reconsidered, whose editor was Lester Grinspoon. In the essay, Sagan commented that marijuana encouraged some of his works and enhanced experiences. After Sagan's death, Grinspoon disclosed this to Sagan's biographer, Keay Davidson[5]. When the biography, entitled Carl Sagan: A Life, was published in 1999, the marijuana exposure stirred some media attention[6].
Popularization of science

Wish there was a video of him defending hemp publicly. =(

Shit load of mindblowing podcasts....but mostly related to psychedelics and consciousness....oh and be sure to sift through the ideas...not all ideas are true or acceptable to one's consciousness but the insights on human consciousness and our evolving society is very interesting.

http://www.theatreofthemind.com/podcasts...odcast=139 > is the link you wanted to get posted Jake....

http://www.lancerules.com/terence/ >More podcasts/recorded audio from Terrence Mckenna, the same guy in the previous link...i reccommend listening to "The World and Its Double" Warning *3 hour talk* but very worth it while on the go or when you have time for yourself...very interesting talk and you don't have to listen to 3hours in one go, but the first part *listen while walking inside a mall*

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OcSxL8GUn-g > This one isn't drug related so no *hemp propaganda here* anyway, this series talks about how history is interwoven. "Episode 1 of James Burke's most well-known series "Connections" which explores the surprising and unexpected ways that our modern technological world came into existence. Each episode investigates the background of usually one particular modern invention and how it came into being. These explorations are an attempt to locate the "connections" between various historical figures who seemingly had nothing to do with each other in their own times, however once connected, these same figures combined to produce some of the most profound impacts on our modern day world. "

Enjoy the MINDBLOWN! =)
This is interesting!
Richard Feynman Thinking Part 1 of 2

Didn't expect to find out that this scientist smoked herbs a lot. Glad i did a search into the details of his life upon hearing he likes to play bongos and hang out with "odd" people. The herb definitely helped him i'm sure. Here is another clip, there's a documentary about his life but i'll leave that search to you *YOU! --points-- * if you're interested.

Thanks for all this stuff, Hemp. I haven't been replying cuz I haven't had the time to go through these. But one day, I'll definitely look back here and check these out. Big grin
No problem. no need to hurry. think of this as a cosmic wave, that you can look back at clearly. This thread also serves as a collection of MINDBLOWN vids i may forget and stumbling upon them in the future would be interesting.
may I suggest to updated this thread bi -weekly/ weekly so that its constantly near the top of the normal thread list any sooner may be a was of bumping power Gentleman

truth be told I've only skimmed some of the material here because I fear that getting MINDBLOWN is not good for my health atm.

EDIT: XP
wut? good for your help? MINDBLOWN is good for you! =)

Kinda frustrating feeling of being MINDBLOWN but always realizing that most people who blew my mind are all dead....fuck!
It feels like i'm observing a Supernova of ideas which exploded before i was born and just came to see and partially understand them now.
Shit, no one quoted clone. LOL
I didn't see that D:

Opportunity wasted.
