We're talking about hacking the firmware here like the PSP, as far as I know, there are no working hacked custom firmwares for the PS3. If there were successful hacks (I've read that there were some groups from "the scene" that have successfully hacked older firmware versions of the PS3), they would have been patched by the firmware updates Sony hands out regularly.

That iload looks like its going somewhere though, and I've read rumors that it will get an international release on March 23.
