You people hang out with your own friends…do you even know what I do aside from “swinging my sword around”…heck even my college batchmates know me better than you guys even though I see you people everyday back in high school, I don’t see my college batchmates me much but know me better than my high school batchmates
Most or if not all people post their pics on facebook expecting people to praise them, unless they ask for criticism or desires to have a discussion about it.
You don't find people in RR commenting on our art thread saying "Your drawing/work is okay BUT I've seen better etc..", although obviously in fact there are better ones compare to the ones we made. You can say that, but It will make you look like a douche.
I find points 2 3 and 4 irrelevant as well.
It doesn't really matter also if they do "mainstream" or "typical" stuff as well.
Have you considered the following?
-They might have insufficient resources to acquire better cosplay materials and accessories.
-They might be busy with other things.
-They are not Alodia and other committed cosplayers.
-They are probably normal.
-They might be incapable of curing cancer.
You do have a point that there will be better ones than they have, but is it necessary to point that out?

i wonder hmmm
a typical 3d character model for ps3/pc basicaly console games is at 15k tris/polys....
mobile is around 1k but still depends on platform though
i wonder handheld like psp,ds etc i wonder how much triangles/polys are character models usually hmmmm
obviously 3d models for film with a higher poly count since no game engine to worry about hmmm just a thought hmmm

In order to combat that, i went for watching all four of the prequel OVAs yesterday in one sitting. 
I just got even more depressed after that.
