Totally smitten with this Taiwanese-American singer Joanna Wang after reading her AMA on reddit.

She seems like an interesting person who needs to meet more people like herself, if she needed to go as far as coming out to rant very publicly through reddit. I hope nothing too bad results from her decision.

Also, she's right about there being too many female singers in east asia rehashing "jazz" standards again and again.

I think her main problem is normalizing into Taiwan (where she's living right now) after growing up in the US.

As for reddit, despite its traffic, it still seems to be very self-contained. I don't think it's a problem. She has very public video rants on her personal youtube account, as I've also linked.

Out of nowhere, my PSP isn't functioning again. Maybe I should just let this thing rest in peace. Nirvana, oblivion, heaven, hell, gehenna, limbo, underworld, abyss, tartarus, whatever - the big fucking metallic electric fan we may call the Mjolnir might just smack the living fuck out of it either way. Then the Big Bang Theory can probably start as I throw off the remains we may call solar systems in order to start the life of another shitty world like earth in a transfuckingmogrifying manner.

Rant 1:

What must one do to make sure an investment pays off? These are hard times as we all know, but I can't have tenants living off our property for free - I still have to pay the bills and the mortgage for it... Got to wonder if they are simply abusing the home owner's mannerism or are genuinely in financial trouble. Hell, they cannot be that poor if one of them is smoking a pack of cigarettes a day, in door should I add which is against the rules set in the contract to begin with.

Guess it's not my call though, since my parents are the owner while I am only the translator. At least things are fairly quiet in the household, even with all the powder kegs lying around, for now.
