I attended one, and organized one myself (a failure due to lack of prep time).
Chances are, it's just something for you to enjoy the night. It can lead to something good if there's a sense of tension between you and your partner (good tension that is, the type that makes you both talk all night). Anyway, it's all good. Just enjoy the evening, and that is entirely up to you to make it enjoyable for yourself.

I didn't do any of the aforementioned unplugging, but it did happen while we were there, so sorry din, Jake. I'll try to keep watch of the specifics next time (since I don't really do much in meets, honestly)

rave: Sai's customizable stabilizer settings and moderate sensitivity to pen motions and pressure are a god send for someone like me with shaky hands ^^
rave: Sai's selection source, clipping group and preserve opacity layer functions make base coloring so easy XD
rant: blur and water tools are hard to use. the end effects tho (as shown in most tutorials who also make it seem so easy) are just amazing
RAVE: the whole two hours Sai didnt have stroke lag even tho i had winamp and firefox running in the background \o/

Post meet problem part 2:
The toaster has burn marks on the top and on the sides, as in the silver turned to brown, and it can't be washed off. This is because whoever was in charge of toasting the bread let too many breads become burnt. There's even photo evidence. Mom was pretty pissed about it this morning because the toaster was new.

I say let's do some compensation, can we do it? A formal apology could work too.. I mean, we're basically freeloading, and we messed up.

I was one of the toaster guys. Though in my defense, I made sure my batch is ok, but that is not the case. Damage is damage.
