i think my taste for games is changing. dropped Riviera just after a few minutes of play coz it felt boring. also dropped FFtactics since i knew its a long and slow game. when i was a kid i loved RPGs and the like. now im favoring games that have more action and have more direct control on how you control the player character.

going to be saving up to build a PC just for this. anyone got an estimate how much i might need to save up for? the units here at the office cost around 15k (CPU only) and they can run L4D2 and Fallout New Vegas smoothly on average settings. will 30k be enough?

Final Fantasy 13-2 (storyline is 5 years after final fantasy 13)
same battle system as before
except here you play as lightning's sister instead, and lightning somewhat disappeared and your looking for her

new features:
some sort of puzzle system on how you travel to different parts of the map
just like the usual 3 party members what makes this final fantasy unique is well think pokemon for your 3rd party member whatever monster you captured you get to summon them as your 3rd party member
live trigger system something like the choices option thing in games like (dragon age, infamous etc) not sure how it will turn out in this game
quick action button thingy hmmm like what some adventure/hack and slash games have (example devil may
cry, darksiders etc)
