It's been some time since I placed this up, but it was on FB:

Attack of the killer burger. Really unfortunate, but serves as a reminder to us that we're never really sure.

Lot's of things I didn't know about Luckily I've always bought beef patties from Costco (the mentioned company that does tests on their beef)

I have a question:
How can I get that really strong garlic taste? I'm having having a hard time working with garlic eh. Right now, what I know are: the more crushed, the better, don't toast the garlic like most people here usually do. I'm asking because I'm working on a garlic-tomato spaghetti sauce.

Oh man oh man oh man.
Grams is offering an all you can eat promo for their sandwiches! For 135 pesos, you can eat as many of the following mini sandwiches: Tuna Melt Roast Beef Corned Beef Philly Cheese Steak Grams Burger Cheese Burger All-American Burger Here's the catch: Promo period is from 2-5pm every day, and they'll only serve the sandwiches in that time frame. They'll also charge you 55 pesos for each sandwich left over. Promo started on September 9, 2009 and is still on going. Still, its quite a good deal. Who want's to go try it with me?

Oh shit. Will it still be ongoing on October 11 onwards?

@Nerese
There was this one time that i used fresh tomatoes tossed into a blender instead of canned tomato sauce. I then added that to around ten cloves worth of finely-chopped garlic. It helped to let the garlicky flavor blend into the sauce better, especially if you just sauteed the garlic quickly for just around ten seconds. The garlic loses some of its taste when it gets browned so try to avoid that. The result sauce was something aswangs would do well to stay away from. Nix might pass by this Sunday, October 11, for the Gender Bent FT if my schedule is clear, so we can prolly do it by then. Also, I asked a staff member of Grams if this promo is gonna stop any time soon and they replied that they have no idea. As of earlier though, it's still on going.
So yeah, we can definitely do this after Kitbash 3 or October 11 and after. Set a date, like say the week after Kitbash 3?

Random food thought: The quality of everyday fresh ingredients all over the province has never ceased to amaze me. I just bought these tomatoes and apples at the supermarket:
I have a few pictures of the public market in this gallery, where the quality is even better

Those tomatoes look SO good. They look like the hot commercial model tomatoes used in tomato sauce ads. It's nothing like the puny tomatoes we have here. So sad. Looks like you're having a hell of a time there, haha.
