That's nice. I remember I played Hot Shots Golf 1 and 2 for the PSX (I think Everybody's Golf evolved from this series) and I really got hooked. I don't even play golf in real life haha
I'll get the Space Invaders game when it's available. But for now, I'm playing
Self Destruct. It's (soft of) a bullet hell game which the creator made in ONE DAY.

I dunno if it's just me but for all it's grandness MGS4 seemed a little too short, gameplay-wise. I'm moving on to DMC4 for the meantime before i go for the next run-through.

Battleships Forever!
Awesome freeware indie Real-Time Space Tactics with battleships!
Intro to the game:

Try it, you won't be disappointed. Not to mention that it's totally free. The game is inspired by another freeware shmup called Warning Forever, and seems to use the same game engine.

Ah, yeah remember Jets n' Guns very well. I've played it to death
For those who aren't familiar with Jets n' Guns Gold, its a shmup made by an indie game developer with an awesome soundtrack made by a Swedish band called Machinae Supremacy who composed over 50 minutes of original tracks for the game.
The game itself reminds me of a side-scrolling version of Tyrian 2000 and Raptor: Call of the Shadows (For those who remember, I know, we're old). It has an upgrade shop system where you can purchase different weapons and upgrades using money collected from missions (by blowing stuff up, as usual). A great game that kept me occupied for some time until I finished it, so its really easy to recommend.
Right now I'm on a shmup fest. I'm playing G-Darius for the PC c/o home of the underdogs (
http://www.the-underdogs.info/game.php?id=3926) and have finally found a copy of R-Type Final, to which I'll be playing again soon. I'll also go back to Einhander and R-Type Delta if I can still find my copies of the games.
