"Kaidokou Funou" by Jinn. The second intro piece for Code Geass. Pretty damn good, as this one's my first taste of J-Punk.
Mosh-worthy indeed!

Maybe it's just the nostalgia but that "Best Of" disc from Faith No More hasn't left my player since saturday morning.

I'm currently listening to Love in New Wave by Electrico care of Grimlok.
Wow ang galing talaga. Kung makahanap lang ako ng album nila, bibilhin ko talaga.
Why are there no local bands of this caliber?
Well maybe only Up Dharma Down. But still...

Cool.
Sinosikat? is another band along the likes of UDD, but they're not quite there yet.

Just found this song earlier. An accoustic version of Tune the Rainbow by Maaya Sakamoto:

Beautiful. I can't remember the last time a song made me cry.
In case you're wondering, this is the original version:

Some stuff from Eureka 7's soundtrack. Kozue Takada's "Himitsu Kichi" is just so easy on the ears.

I have a copy of their album. They're more on the jazzy-soul genre. It's good listening (I like the album), but, yeah, not along the likes of UDD.

Yep, yeap. Good stuff. Pleasant to the ears. Good BGM when playing starcraft (Protoss). Hehe

Some new stuff:
Pirates of the Carribean OSTs (all three films) - Pretty cool, yeah.
Thieves of Fate - It's OverClocked ReMix's new project for the little known game Radical Dreamers. I'm just a few minutes into the album but I'm really digging it so far. It's got more of a mellow and jazzy funk to it, which I like.
For those who don't know, RD is basically set between Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross. Wanna play it?
Here ya' go. You'll need to register but it's OK since romBay pretty much blows other ROM sites outta the water.

Urbandub's got a new album out!
Under Southern Lights is the name, got it a bit earlier and am just giving it the initial listen-through. Seems like the group is going for a more radio-friendly tone than previous albums but they haven't lost any of the lyrical genius they've displayed before. Several tracks seem to be a bit experimentalist but the fast-paced, hard-edged opening licks of "An Invitation", "Anthem" and "Guillotine" are all vintage Urbandub. It's been a couple of years since
Embrace was released and you can call me very satisfied at the moment.
Well, putting aside all the J-Pop i've been listening to since 2008 began, it's kinda refreshing to go back to songs with lyrics that i actually understand.
EDIT - 1000th post, the most i've ever done with any board i've joined before. WOOT!
