I thought he was past that. 49 isnt that bad. Bruce Willis might be older than that when he did the Die Hard 4.
I really want him to star the ED4. The scenario that I really wanted to be is that Ash is old (not that old) and is still battling with the deadites in a post-apocalyptic environment, no time travelled, few years after the ED3.
But I doubt that as it may not attract some audience that havent watched ED. But! I really wanted that scenario!! Just the thought of it makes me want to..

But I rememberd the ED3 preview, there's an alternative foretelling. Its when Ash raised his hand and the beam of a deadite petrified it instead. That was from my childhood memory, now that I think about it. It may be wrong.

If you look carefully, it looked like being turned to stone in an alternative foretelling.. with some cracks and being turned gray..

you sure? on youtube it looked more like the veines turning black and skin just turned grey not to stone

ash says it went bad he didnt say anything that would suggest it turning to stone
also in the next scene you see the hand moveing it wouldnt if it was stone

I just had a dream of me in a brigade-like group this morning, the one has a big chainsaw as his great sword. I think that might be Ash to me.
If you get any significant/interesting news on ED4, can you post it here? Im too lazy to browse and been pretty busy with something online lately.

well theres been some talk of a movie called "my name is bruce" where the actor bruce campbell gets mistaken for ash and ends up fighting monsters

Where the actor is Bruce Campbell himself? And he's mistaken for Ash? But he is Ash.
Now that u mentioned it, I did remember reading about 'My Name is Bruce' somewhere online. I think its an alternative title for ED4, but thats just how i remembered it.
