I don't think there's a practical application for a 50 foot robot in the battlefield. Most of the armed forces nowadays focus on precision rather than firepower. Thats why some military analysts say that machines such as the TANK will be phased out in the years to come because of the appearance of Smart Weapons.
If they were able to come up with giant mechs, dont expect them to move like what you see in cartoons.
