AC Terms
#1
This topic is for Pinoy AC Terms, post here before posting in the Encycopedia so that everyone can see and approve the term/terms you post here...

-Ultra Lights-
Hindi Yosi... This is a term used for very light weight AC's. Their chassis is usually composed of the first lightest to the fifth lightest parts. Their speed ranges from 450kph and over. Applicable to Humanoids, Frogs and Hovers.

-Frogs-
Another term for Reverse Joints, because of their jump ability and appearance.

-Under Ranging-
Term used for Snipers Rifle equipped AC's with a short lock FCS. The system is intended for short range (duh~) and to make sure that the sniper rifle's ammo connects more. One example is RFenrir+LNix combo.

Everyone's free to post their own terms...
More to come...

Terms I gave meaning to from Raven's AC Dictionary...

Beefed-Up Standard - An AC with a Standard Chassis, euipped with better boosters, generator, radiator and weapons to maximizes the standard leg unit's high weight capacity. Often used by bored players to test/train themselves. Long time usage may result to better maneauvering, timing and accuracy.

Right Handed AC - An AC armed with it's stronger and more used arm weapon on it's right arm. It may be dual wielded or blade equipped.

Left Handed AC - A much newer AC design since the creation of the right arm blades. The AC is armed with a strong left arm rifle, combined with either a Rasetsu, Enma or Nioh. It is made more for close to middle ranged combat , compared to the right handed.
This setup is also capable of multi firing, [Left Arm Gun + Back Cannon/s + EO], making this design a little more destructive.

Boost Drifting - A maneauver used by experienced players. The AC is boosted sideways, then executes a jump [also sideways], then moves to the opposite direction with the same movement right after landing. It was a result of players finding out that the generator charges faster when off the ground, helping them conserve more energy. Often used with high power boosters with a quick charging generator.

Ahh... Can anyone delete my post before this? Darn Notepad typing.

I'd like to clarify something about hybrids...
Hybrid AC's are AC's designed for at least 2 types of situations. As I recall it, there are supposed to be more than 3 types...
A: Defense-Offense Hybrid - An AC with High Defense and Attack Ratings. The attack rating isn't measured by the AC's offensive rating in the Performance Option, but rather, with the equipped weapons' raw attack power. One of the 2 most used hybrids.

B: Mobility-Offense Hybrid - A Highly Maneauverable AC fitted with High Attack Weapons. The attack power measurement is the same as DOHybrid but, works very well with lowattack/rapidfire weapons like machineguns. The other most used hybrid.

C: Defense-Mobility Hybrid - The Type of AC that lasts long in battle. Usually composed of a combination of heavy, defensive parts on midweight legs, because of this, the DMHybrid can only be equipped with the lightest weapons, and even have a limited weapon selection, making this the least used hybrid. In addition, the DMHybrid is best used as a Samurai/Dual Blader Chassis [just tried it a week ago].

Added words from Raven's AC Dictionary...
Including the old definition fof Left Handed AC's...

Well it doesn't necessarily have to be in filipino...
Aleh, if you think you have a term you made up you want to share, put it here...
Who knows, no one else made a term for that yet...

lemme try:

Cruiser - a heavy. not a true heavy since it is composed of heavy-class components and non-heavy components. a Cruiser has the firepower and armor of a heavy, but also has the mobility and agility equivalent to a fully-loaded mid (or to some extent). while it does possess the combined advantages of both heavies and mids, it also possess their combined disadvantages. Cruisers are meant to take advantage of LR's new system of underweighing and hence may compose of lighter parts compared to a true heavy.

prime examples:

strawhat luffy's Devil's Laughter.

serene's Chaos and Order

yours truly's Bruiser and Minotaur
