Speaking of Spam...

RANT: My boss - who can barely speak a word of English and has next to no gaming sense - asked to to post an advert for one of our games on a list of forums earlier last week. I got the job done, and now he's asking I send him a copy of the link to the posts on said forums with our advert.

The man has just asked me to fucking spam, and now he is asking for a report of the deed on a vacation day.

RANT: I sent him a reply, and linked him to an article explicitly indicating that what I have done is spamming, and is widely considered unethical. I know I don't get paid much, and I'm probably not that good a writer, but damn it - I still have my integrity.

This Christmas, all but my uncle [35 people] went and did our reunion at Saisaki's. The sushi was great, but for an eat all you can, they brought the wrong person [me] to an eat-all-you-can. It was more fun and organized than the ones we had before, probably because of the location and time restriction.
But it would be great if we don't do the same next year, because our aguinaldos became affected. Ehehe.

rave: finally got the hang of using doppel walk to give our side the edge on clashes. i doppelwalk, park PL to the side, control the illusion and run it into the enemies. they usually waste a spell or two on it. definitely worth it since they usually waste a stun on it. even better, in one the games i managed to build a heart of tarassque. since the HP bonus is applied to the illusion (it gets up to 2.8k), they think its me coz it doesnt die easy. effect? they waste more spells on it XD

rave: finally managed to make some space for my new figures. i can start putting my gundam model together ^^

Went out of town for a few days and went off to home again after Christmas. I didn't really expect Christmas to be that cultural in there; a lot of random people were going door-to-door carolling and all were pretty good in performing it (good execution of musical instruments, good voice, etc) - None of that sing for the money; forget the lousy singing thing.

Every person I saw outside greeted me with the usual "Maligayang pasko" thing regardless of whether I was either or neither an acquaintance, it felt warm when these people welcomed me. Or it could be just because my dad held the most successful fiesta before (mga sipsip). I also had a good taste of another drinking session.

Also got around 11k this time, much less than before. Pero bawi ang pinambayad ko sa DT880. XD



Rant:

During my stay, me and my PS3 were literally child magnets. Talking to 4-5 kids every fucking day for the whole day was too stressing. Thank god the kids sleep quite early during nighttime.

Some men were a bit sexist about me playing video games a lot too rather than go woman hunting, but I take it as a compliment rather than an insult because I can stay the fuck up late and wake up early just to play. Other people (i.e., women) find it amusing though (maybe they're tired of the usual normal joe) .
