I'd like to think my taste is pretty diverse, as I'll actually listen to anything and everything with an open approach. I somewhat enjoy OPM, especially the bands which don't take themselves too seriously (Itchyworms, Brownman Revival, Shiela and the Insects).
You mentioned everything I forgot to mention
except for the Bossa Nova part, because its so overplayed now.About mathcore, ever tried listening to the Battles or Zazen Boys? Battles are indie and are a mix of electronica and rock. Zazen are indie too, and Japanese electronica w/ hiphop.
