Well... dapat lang. I guess it's America's way of "paying them back." 
I have a cousin in L.A. whose 2nd wife is a descendant of one of the native american (NATIVE AMERICAN. Let's stop calling them American Indians.) tribes... every month, a large portion of the profits made from their casinos is equally divided among all recorded descendants of that particular tribe. So... the wife of my cousin receives a FEW THOUSAND dollars every month as her share. Last time I saw them, they had 3 kids... the kids are considered descendants too. And they also get their share...
