See? Providing a link isn't so hard, right wanzer? Google's there I know, but still... XD
Definitely a weird news item though. American Indians in the gambling business, buying the Hard Rock franchise for $1 billion... who'd have thought.
Does that include the Hard Rock cafes here in the country?
Quote:The tribe also will acquire what is said to be the world's largest collection of rock memorabilia, some 70,000 pieces including Jimi Hendrix's Flying V guitar...Good lord...

I'm willing to bet yeah, but I doubt there'll be any major changes at the moment. If there are any, I'd expect them to squeze a little bit of an American Indian theme in their restaurants, which is something I'm looking foward too.

Those American Indians make a buttload of money. The money they earn from their casinos is untaxed.

Well... dapat lang. I guess it's America's way of "paying them back."
I have a cousin in L.A. whose 2nd wife is a descendant of one of the native american (NATIVE AMERICAN. Let's stop calling them American Indians. ) tribes... every month, a large portion of the profits made from their casinos is equally divided among all recorded descendants of that particular tribe. So... the wife of my cousin receives a FEW THOUSAND dollars every month as her share. Last time I saw them, they had 3 kids... the kids are considered descendants too. And they also get their share... I'm jealous
