Alliance, 'cause they're better organized (even with all that backstabbing and switching sides deal with Evangel), plus they're evil. 
Vertex was a more loose organization of Ravens IMO, and Jack-O wasn't that effective a leader either.
Granted, I didn't really pay much attention to LR's story outside of Zinny and the Pulvies, but that's my impression for you.
Oh, and by the way, medyo defective yung poll... pwedeng piliin both choices. Next time, kung gusto mo isa lang pwedeng piliin, pick Single Choice(1) dun sa drop down box na visible kapag gumagawa ng poll.
