Well I watched the recent Iron Man cartoon (2006 I think) and I'm guessing that this will have a similar storyline... I'm impressed that the armor actually looks like what it's supposed to look like.
But what's with this Afghanistan bullshit?
This better be better than Spider-Man 3... although I doubt it.

I've waited for this one since last year...
Being an Iron Man fan and after seeing his MkIII armor, makes me hope that this becomes a great movie.

Iron Man is an awesome character. I hope they treat this franchise well, although casting Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark is certainly a surprise. I'll have to see more to have my say on whether I think it'll be great or not.
But my interest is certainly piqued.

Tony Stark is an alcoholic playboy and Robert Downey jr. is well-known for being one of the hardest drinkers in Hollywood.
Makes perfect casting sense to me.
