Playing FM4 now.
Played FM3 for the PS1. Maganda, at astig.
Basta naman mecha OK ako eh.
Sana nga lang mas fluid sila gumalaw, pero dahil kasi turn based ang nature nung laro,
talagang one at a time.
<a href='http://youtube.com/watch?v=zHgOG_S2ci4' target='_blank'>Here</a> is a video of them in live action.
EDIT: Stupid me, I messed up the link.
Fixed it now though.

Yup those five pretty much embody the spirit of the series. Kinda like in the way Oracle embodies Nexus, and BlackJack for Last Raven.
A team of rifles and pilebunkers FTW.

IS FMO for the Japanese market only? Or have you heard of any attempts to port it over to American shores (and therefore the Philippines', when pirates begin their work
))?

japanese only.
i think ther'ye not gonna push through with it like they did wit ffXI.
as for FM5 though....the only news i've heard so far is that SE tried to settle a copyright dispute because there was already a "Scars of the War" game.

Get an SNES emulator and get yourselves a copy of Front Mission 1 and 2. The graphics are actually very good for 16-Bit and the gameplay is just as good.

btw, "Front Mission 2" is not Gun Hazard.
i repeat,
"Front Mission 2" is NOT Gun hazard. Gun Hazard is not a direct sequel. It was a seperate project and therefore, not canon.
Front Mission Second is the official sequel.

PLayed FM3 for the PS1 a couple of years back. A friend of mine kept nagging me to play it since i was the one who was ga-ga over mecha but i there were times in my life when i dropped the controller for months at a time and actually did other stuff (hello, new gundam models!). Then i saw a copy and said "why the hell not?".
When i finally got around to playing, i chastised myself for procrastinating and just got lost within the game. I'd start playing at 8pm then would look at the clock and see that it was already past 4am. I swear that just fooling around with the eqipment setups ate away half of total playing time. This game took up a whole two months of my life then. Finished both Allysa and Emma scenarios twice.
Now imagine my disappointment and complete annoyance that when i wanted to play FM4 around december of last year, i can't find a fething copy anywhere! Anybody have any idea where they can be found nowadays?
Whoever helps me out on finding a copy is guaranteed a spot in Heaven (well not really, but i'll be including them in my prayers if that happens, hehehe.)
