*(or R-arm ghost2 + L-arm bp)
these two frames are based on Talos ( http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/genmess...c=30505180), which is a modification of the Gaeus(see my garage), a showroom piece that is a tribute to my SL Gaeus updated with LR parts.
what do you guys think?

I like the 2nd design, my only recomendation would be to change the MONJU to the VOLUTE, but that's just my preference. I also am a bit concerned with the low ammo of the 69H, if you can cram in the H3 that might address the ammo issue despite it being banned in the upcoming tourney.

yeah, i like the 2nd design myself. the atlas core really sucks....
i did some further testing with the 2nd design this afternoon. the fudoh seems nice but it doesn't recover energy quick enough, same with the g91. so i used the lotus instead.
i like the shape of the volute myself but it has a slow lockspeed. i really need to get rid of the 75mt fast so my best choice is the monju. the f37h looks better on paper but i had the really flat lockbox. anyway, i'll try the volute next time.
i have the same sentiment when it comes to the H3, so i thought the next best thing was the 69H....if only you can store some handguns on that eos core >_<
i'll finalize the design by friday.

Hmm... why did you go back to the Fudoh? The Lotus would suffice, especially since you're wearing the Eos. Otherwise, yeah, I'd rethink the 69H. It just has too few ammo rounds to warrant that spot in the left hand. But then again, RM3 + MT is the premiere missile combo in LR IMO, so if you could make them hit I guess it wouldn't really matter. Yeah umm... I say stick with the 69H after all. XD
Think about it: spam HG alongside missile volleys, then drop them both as soon as you're able. Then you're left with the monstrous BP plopped in an OB core on the unstunnable FA = OB joust. Sarap ng buhay mo nun bro! Hahaha

hehehe.
anyway,
i'm a type B user , so i needed the extra gen cap to skate longer when i'm not going OB and i wanted something that doesn't turn my AC into an oven while OBing. looks like the fudoh is the best of both worlds for me, hahaha.

in typical el capitan wanzerfreak fashion, i made 4 other variants:
hercules bravo: replace the 75mt with the 69M and replace the handgun with the R3. (i borrowed some design aspects from guppy's previos promethues designs and incorporate it into mine . those were better than the recent one. )
hercules charlie: replace the fudoh with the g91(tuned to max output), the ananda for the r92(either tuned to full cooling or full e-drain reduction), and the handgun with the R3. this runs a little hot that usual that's why the r92 keeps the heat in check. ob-whoring with this is not recommended.
hecules delta: same frame parts as the primary, cept the BP is replaced by the big grenade rifle and a nix takes up the left arm slot.
hercules epsilon: same weapon layout as the charlie variant, but uses the lotus. and it seems like the the only way to get from point a to point b is to OB.

small world huh?
i'm not really content with one design. i like variations that stem from one main design.

i did some more tinkering around with the design. i replaced the vuture2 with the birdie2 (maxed power) and i think it handles a lot better with the increased acceleration. the birdie2 pretty much turns it into a robot version of muhammad ali.
i love the way this baby handles. i think you guys should take it out for a spin sometime during the tourney.
UPDATE: (10/17/06)
i have at least 4000 surplus output on the fudoh. is it a good idea to divert part of the tunes to increase the condenser cap?
