The the Chimei, right? What I'm saying is that we were originally looking for a TV that could sub as a dual-monitor screen, but found that most LCD TVs weren't that good at being monitors. So we ended up with a monitor that happens to also have TV functionality. And it's much cheaper than most LCD TVs with the equivalent specs.

I use the Chimei as a dual monitor quite often to. One side has a game on, the other side has a browser window open and stuff like foobar (music) and ym/pidgin. I'm not sure if all computers come with HDMI out though; haven't bought a new one in a while.

You can still get 1920x1080 HD resolutions from hi res VGA cables (edit: assuming your vid card and TV can handle it). No need for HDMI.
